I went into ink paintings because I have been fascinated with boku-shoku(the color of India ink stick)and greatly touched by the beautiful landscapes and the nature full of life in Japan. My motto is that I should draw pictures which genuinely reflect “the moment of encounter with scenery”. I am determined to go on painting pictures of Japanese magnificent landscapes, as a lifetime job.
