I'm from Saga, Kyoto. The zen sect temple was my play ground and Karesansui (a dry landscape garden) is my starting point. I feel peace and longing for the world of Black ink (Sumi) and vermilion color which are used in picture scrolls and art from the middle ages in Japan. And I care particularly about plane. Drawing lines, the relationship between side and line, and what appears is … ME. I hope all paintings are clear, but never can be completely fulfilling.
